Los Angeles (eCanadaNow) - Britney Spears recently spent a brief time in rehab.
According to Extra, the party girl pursued professional help at a private location two days ago.
People magazine later confirmed Spears had checked in to Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Centre in Antigua, but checked out less than 24 hours later.
The initial story broke after Britney’s former assistant of nearly 10 years, Felicia Culotta, sent an email to the editor of thatotherblog.com. In her email, which was posted to the site, Culotta wrote she has been “crushed/saddened/heartsick by the way [Britney’s] life is unfolding,” adding, “we, as her family and nearest and dearest, not on the payroll anymore, are doing everything in our power to get help for Britney.”
